ADF 014 - Duplicating Objects

Hi, I’m Delores, and welcome to Affinity Designer: Weekly Fundamentals. This is lesson ADF-014, Duplicating and Power Duplicate. In this lesson, I explain different ways to duplicate objects and introduce power duplication for creating repeated elements quickly. Duplication is used constantly in illustration, pattern design, and layout work. Once you understand how this works, you’ll save a huge amount of time and gain more control over repetition. Each lesson in this series focuses on one clear skill or concept and is intentionally short and approachable. You can watch in order, jump around, or return to specific topics as needed. By the end of the year, every lesson will be listed individually so you can easily find exactly what you’re looking for.
