Making of | "Friendly Shadow"

Created by David James Armsby.   / davidarmsbyartist   This is a behind-the-scenes video to accompany my recent animated short film, "Friendly Shadow". This video covers my creative process and my ideas behind the art and themes of the film. This video is the first of three "making of" videos I'll be making covering this film. The other two will be more like my "Creative Process" videos. They will be covering the design, lore, and creative process behind the "Hive" and "Friendly Shadow" characters, respectively. This film was a tremendous undertaking. It's the longest animated film I've ever made and likewise, this is the longest behind-the-scenes video I've ever made too. I had to chop out 50% of the script for this video because it was just getting far too long. This project as so huge and complicated that I could easily talk for hours about it.
