Making of | "Immortal Machine"

Created by David James Armsby.   / davidarmsbyartist   This is a behind-the-scenes video to accompany my recent animated short film, "Immortal Machine". This video covers my creative process and ideas behind the art and themes of the film. It is the first of three "making of" videos covering this film. The other two will be covering the design, lore, and creative process behind Autodale's "Mayor" and "Matriarch" . Maaaaan, this was a long time coming. I've wanted to make an animated short film covering the Matriarch and Autodale's history for as long as the series has existed but it was only now I felt technically and artistically experienced enough to tackle it. This film was harder than "Friendly Shadow" even with it being 33% shorter. I threw as much as I possibly could into this project and I'm very proud of the result on a technical level.
