Creative Process | Autodale's "MATRIARCH"

The Matriarch is a character that has existed for a very long time. She actually predates the series itself just like the Freaks. She has gone through by far the most redesigns and rewrites throughout the years and has had the messiest creative journey of any character I've ever created. This doesn't mean it was a bad journey, though. Sometimes the creative process is messy and constantly evolving which is fascinating and fun to explore in its own right.
