Day 2 of the Moors Valley Railway ‘Autumn Steam Gala Weekend’ with 12 locos in service and 4 extras being shunted! Locomotives No.4 ‘Tinkerbell’ No.9 ‘Jason’ No.10 ‘Offa’ No.12 ‘Pioneer’ No.14 ‘Horton’ No.17 ‘Hartfield’ No.18 ‘Zeus’ No.22 ‘Aurora’ No.24 ‘Perseus’ ‘Mrs Darling’ (From the Swanley Newbarn Railway) ‘Captain Hook’ (From the Abbeydale Minuature Railway) ‘Ross’ (From the Abbeydale Miniature Railway) ‘Annum Perdita’ (From the Colne Valley Minuature Railway) ‘Yeo’ (From the Colne Valley Minuature Railway) The gala features passenger trains,freight trains including Y2Y,Pway and Skip wagons aswell as the ‘Dorset Flyer’ shuttle service and the Tucktonian service. I very much enjoyed the gala and the team at MVR once again made the event so for filling with trains nearly every minute! With double headers galore also features in this program
