‘Patricinha do Golpe’ volta a ser investigada no DF depois de sair da prisão

Carolina Alves de Moraes, known nationally as "Patricinha do Golpe" (roughly translated as "The Swindler Princess"), is once again under police investigation. The 37-year-old woman is accused of failing to pay rent and stealing furniture and appliances from a furnished apartment in Águas Claras, in the Federal District. The property owner reported that Carolina disappeared with the goods without paying any amount related to the rent. This is not the first case involving Carolina. In 2022, she was convicted of carrying out a series of scams against businessmen in the region. Using her appearance and persuasive skills to infiltrate elite social circles, she pretended to have significant financial resources while committing financial fraud. After serving part of her sentence for fraud that year, Carolina received a presidential pardon that extinguished her previous conviction. However, authorities claim that her criminal behavior persisted after her release. Currently under new investigation for theft and fraud related to the recent case in the Federal District, images from the condominium's security cameras have been handed over to the police to assist in the investigations.
