Flight abandoned in poor visibility | Ikarus C42 Microlight
Happy New Year! One of the last things I did in 2017 was get checked out by a Mainair Flying School instructor to fly the Ikarus C42 microlight. I was keen to consolidate the training by going up again without a passenger and running through the things I'd been taught. The weather wasn't great, with poor visibility, mist and low cloud so it wasn't long before I decided to abandon the flight.
