Idosa de 73 anos é resgatada após acidente doméstico em Osasco (SP)

A 73-year-old woman was rescued by firefighters after falling in the bathroom of her home in Osasco, Greater São Paulo. The incident occurred in a house located in the Rochdale region, near where a crater opened up during Sabesp construction work, and required a complex procedure due to the difficult internal access to the house. The victim could not be removed via the internal staircase of the house, which led rescuers to opt for removing her through the balcony. The operation was covered aerially by RECORD and showed the careful work of the professionals to stabilize and immobilize the elderly woman before lowering her using a makeshift ladder. After being placed on a stretcher by the Fire Department, she was transferred to an ambulance that took her to a local hospital.
