Adolescente suspeito de cinco assassinatos é apreendido em SP

A 17-year-old teenager was apprehended this Friday morning (10) in the Grajaú neighborhood, in the southern zone of the São Paulo capital. He is suspected of involvement in at least five murders and other crimes, including robberies and thefts. After being detained, he will be presented to the Justice system in a custody hearing. Among the cases investigated is the robbery-homicide of a security guard at a vehicle dealership in March, where the young man allegedly acted alone to steal the weapon and ended up shooting the victim in the head. Witnesses reported that he approached victims armed and fled on stolen motorcycles, frequently displayed on social media. The police informed that the teenager may have links with criminal factions. During the apprehension, he was with his girlfriend on a red luxury motorcycle, which had altered license plates. In initial statements, he demonstrated aggressive behavior, even threatening the officers. The young man's mother, present at the police station, stated that she did not believe the accusations, which lacked judicial proof, and also mentioned possible mental health issues her son may have, although these have not yet been officially confirmed.
