Sofanor Parra, el Centauro Inmortal
Sofanor Parra was a career military officer, known for participating in almost every battle of the War of the Pacific, which earned him the nickname "The Immortal." He refused to participate in the 1991 civil war. Once reinstated in the service, he was one of the key figures in the modernization of the cavalry. He was close to several presidents, serving as both an aide-de-camp and a bodyguard.
