Adolfo Holley, Medio siglo de servicio
Adolfo Holley Urzúa was a career military officer who participated in the civil wars of 1851 and 1859, in the early campaigns in Araucanía. As Governor of Parral, he joined the Seventh Line Infantry Regiment when the War of the Pacific broke out. He participated in the Sierra Campaign. In the civil war of 1891, he served as Minister of War for the revolutionary junta.
