Making of | "No Monsters"

Created by David Armsby.   / davidarmsbyartist   Being Pretty was a massive success. It's my most-viewed and most talk-about video. Strange; I honestly thought it'd be the animation that would kill my channel. =P I always wanted to create more in the universe of Autodale. There's a lot more lore that I've mapped out for this world than I've shown in these 2 shorts. This "making of" mostly covers my creative process while working on the sequel to "Being Pretty"; named "No Monsters". I cover a lot of the same ground in this making-of. This is mostly due to the nature of sequels. I had to build upon what was already established. This short was much harder work than the original and took far longer to make. My next animation will be completely new and separate from this series. But I do think I'll probably return for a 3rd animated short eventually. I like this little world too much!
