Haughmond Hill parkrun | Full Course POV & Review

This week I visited Haughmond Hill parkrun, just outside Shrewsbury, to take on a completely new challenge. As someone who's much more at home on flat, fast tarmac courses, this one-lap trail route through beautiful woodland was a very different experience. With plenty of climbs, descents and uneven terrain, it certainly tested me in ways I'm not used to! Join me for a full point-of-view (POV) run around the course with live commentary as I talk you through each section, share pacing decisions, highlight the trickiest parts of the route and offer some useful tips if you're planning to visit Haughmond Hill yourself. I also discuss some of the key points from parkrun's recently announced Growth & Inclusion Strategy and what they could mean for the future of parkrun. How would a runner chasing a Sub-19 5K on the road cope on a hilly trail course? Watch to find out! If you enjoy parkrun reviews, running vlogs and race commentary, please like the video, subscribe, and let me know in the comments which parkrun I should visit next.
