HARDROCK 100 inside my race | Movie: HEART OF ROCK

In the San Juan Mountains, the wind still carries the ghosts of gold seekers and miners who came to carve their destiny out of the rock. Between Silverton, Ouray, and Telluride, these Colorado mountains were shaped by sweat, dust, and the obsession of those who walked toward the unknown. Today, it is no longer the sound of pickaxes echoing through the valleys, but the footsteps of ultra-trail runners. Following in the footsteps of the old miners, the Hardrock 100 demands 160 kilometers of solitude, vertigo, and inner battle, with passages above 4,000 meters in altitude, where oxygen becomes scarce and every movement turns into a negotiation with the body. Heart Of Rock tells the story of my journey through this legendary race, deep in a raw, wild land charged with history. A modern western where the conquest is no longer about gold, but about the self. 00:00 Introduction 02:46 Hardrock 100 Start 03:45 Stony Pass 04:55 Handies Peak 05:52 Animas Forks 06:17 Ouray 07:39 Kroger’s Canteen 08:42 Grant Swamp Pass 10:22 KT Aid Station 13:00 Finish Line --- A film by Philip Rouleau & Erwan Lier Produced by Podium Global Color grading by Omar Metaich --- ©️ Special Thanks Pacers: Vincent Viet & William Walcker Race Director: Dale Garland All the volunteers Main Partner: Salomon Technical Partners: Petzl, Garmin, Leki --- Do you enjoy the content❓️ You can support our work by: ❤️ Subscribing: / @mathieu_blanchard 🔔 Turning on notifications to stay up to date with upcoming videos. --- 📲 You can also find me on: 📷 INSTAGRAM: / mathieu__blanchard 🏃‍♂️ STRAVA: https://strava.app.link/mathieu_blanc... 🧑‍💼 LINKEDIN: / mathieublanchard 🐤 TWITTER: / mathblanchard_ 👨‍🦳 FACEBOOK: / mathieublanchard.off
