Wieskirche e Allgäu - Biketrotters 2026 - Cicloturismo / 05

Our second ride of the trip consists of three stages in total, with each destination being quite distinct from the others. In the previous video, we cycled alongside Forggensee—following the ancient Via Claudia Augusta—to a VCA memorial, where we took a moment to reflect. After that informative and contemplative pause, we are now continuing our ride. We will remain in the Allgäu countryside, passing through just a few small villages. Turning east, we’ll skirt the edge of Lechsee and cross the Lech River via the dam, heading toward the destination of this second stage: the renowned Wieskirche. As we cycle through the Allgäu, I’d like to share some information about this enchanting region.
