A Journal Card Build from Antique Finds (Part 15)
This is the fifteenth and final video in my series transforming The Kindergarten: Home and School Culture into a handmade journal inspired by Victorian-era childhood, vintage paper, and traditional bookmaking. In this final episode, I create a simple journal card using only antique and vintage materials — a small piece to finish the journal and bring everything together. I work with: antique and vintage paper a fragment of sheet music an antique advertising card hand-crocheted lace and a single button These are the same kinds of materials used throughout the project, brought together in one last, small composition. In this video: I create a quick, layered journal card work entirely with vintage and antique elements and add a final piece to the completed journal It’s a simple ending, but a fitting one — a small, usable piece that reflects the materials, textures, and details that shaped the entire journal.
