Making masala fry chicken on the outside fire - quick braise with that outside fire smoky flavour!

Hi all Today we decided to take the kitchen outside and cook a dry braised masala chicken fry on the fire or chula. Using the wood burning stove is one of our favourite cooking methods that we sometimes overlook due to the convenience. Ingredients 1.5kg soft chicken 4 small onions sliced 2 small tomatoes, diced 1/2 cup oil 1 tbs pure chillie powder 1 tsp hurdee (tumeric) powder 1 tsp chicken spice 1/2 tsp garam masala 1/2 tsp dhania (coriander) powder 1/2 tsp jeera (cumin) powder 1 tsp rough salt, adjust to taste 1 large cinnamon stick 2 tbs lemon juice handful of fresh thyme fresh curry leaves 1 tsp ginger and garlic Serve hot with carrot salad and rotis How we mix our mixed masala:    • How I mix my masala   Don't forget to shop our aprons here: https://www.tailorninaaprons.com/prod...
