Businesswoman Mariah Perrotta lived through a nightmare with her ex-boyfriend Gustavo Henrique Costa e Silva, known as DJ Gustavo Baby. The relationship started well, but soon turned into a series of humiliations and physical assaults. After deciding to end the relationship due to the escalating violence, Mariah faced new threats. Gustavo did not accept the end of the relationship and assaulted Mariah during a meeting to discuss the situation, making death threats. He broke into her house twice: the first time, he threw his ex-girlfriend into the pool, resulting in several cuts and scratches on her body; the second time, Gustavo broke down the door while she was with a friend and violently assaulted her. After these episodes and the defamatory dissemination of videos about her, Mariah obtained a restraining order. Even so, the DJ was preventively arrested for violating the court order, but the justice system released him shortly afterward.
