Feminicídio em SP: vizinho obcecado invade casa e mata mulher diante da própria filha

A tragedy has shocked the Itaquera neighborhood in the eastern zone of São Paulo. Geysa Patez, a 35-year-old woman who lived with her daughter Nicolly Patez, was brutally murdered by her neighbor Vinícius Brito Gomes. The crime occurred after repeated attempts by the suspect to establish an unrequited romantic relationship. Vinícius broke into the victim's house and attacked her with a knife. The scene was witnessed by the victim's daughter, who tried to intervene to save her mother. According to the young woman's accounts on social media and to the Civil Police, Vinícius had previously demonstrated abusive behavior and had even attempted to sexually assault Geysa weeks before the homicide. The case gained notoriety when Nicolly made an emotional appeal on social media asking for help in locating the still-fugitive aggressor. Witnesses stated that tensions between Geysa and Vinícius increased after he was publicly rejected during social gatherings in the neighborhood.
