Re-inventado la educación escolar | Jorge Yzusqui | TEDxTukuy

This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. Jorge tells us how, after recognizing the low quality of education in Peru, he was motivated to create a school. Today, that school has become a chain that is innovating in methodology, curriculum, and quality to reach as many Peruvians as possible. Jorge Yzusqui decided to enter the education sector because he felt it was necessary to provide quality education to those who couldn't access it in Peru. Today, he is the general manager of Innova Schools, a chain of schools that implement initiatives to innovate in education. They have worked with the renowned design firm IDEO, challenging some of the paradigms of traditional education. About TEDx, x = independently organized event. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks videos and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
