Painted Echo Cane - Lampworking / Flameworking - Studio Session 010 - 104 demo
Hello my Friends! 🌹💫 Every now and then, I discover something in the flame that completely surprises me… and this was definitely one of those magical moments. ✨ Today I’m using the Double Helix color Echo 2 over Effetre Black (as a veiled cane), and the reactions absolutely blew me away!🤩🙏🏽✨ Echo 2 is both a striking and reducing color that is loaded with silver, which means it can transform dramatically in the flame. In this bead, it created an incredible painted rainbow effect that looked almost brushed onto the surface. Even more amazing, the entire design came from a single piece of cane made with only two colors. As the bead cooled, layers of different colors began to appear in a way I had never seen before. …Discovering reactions like this is one of the things I love most about glass — even after years of working in the flame, it can still feel magical and full of surprises! ✨ I’m so excited to share this colorful experiment with all of you, and I hope it inspires you to explore the hidden beauty inside the Double Helix reactive glass colors. Hugs and Cheers — Robin 🌈🛸✨ 💫 Private Lessons are available!
