Banded Hollows - Lampworking / Flameworking - 102.75 - 104 glass

Hello my Friends! ✨🌹 The hollow bead is a wonderful way to create a large focal bead without all the weight of a solid one. Today, I’m playing with light and color—layering transparent glass with bold white striping, all wrapped around the mandrel to form a big, hollow bead. Winding an even hollow form like this takes patience and control… and I’ll be honest—it’s a challenge for me too (hello shaky hands! 😄). Along the way, there are a few mishaps and even a little glass popping off—but that’s all part of the journey. With some persistence, patience, and a good sense of humor, it all comes together in the end. 😂 If this feels challenging for you as well, you’re not alone.
