Floorwork Tutorials I Around the clock
The Around the Clock comes from Contemporary Floorwork, and part of the Floorwork Foundation series. https://floorwork-foundations.thinkif... This movement allows one to generate momentum while on the ground and transition to higher positions. Two elements are key here: the segregation between the upper and the lower bodies. For us to generate momentum as we reach for one leg, we need to fully twist the upper body and let the lower body follow. The body isn't a solid unit anymore - one part drives, the other absorbs the momentum and follows. arm placement. You need to keep some form of extension in the back to lift the chest from the floor and keep both arms slicing the air, out of the floor way, in order to be able to perform the Full Around the Clock as described at the end of the video. Take your time to practice the full twist motion from one side to the other before rushing into performing the full movement. š§š¼š¼š¹š šš¼ š¹š²š®šæš» š½šæš¼š½š²šæš¹š * š» Explore and learn more: Access the whole library: https://www.floorwork-academy.com/ 0:00 AROUND THE CLOCK 0:35 FOUNDATIONS 1:40 REFINING THE DETAILS 2:24 ADDING COMPLEXITY
