What We Spent To Walk The Camino de Santiago - Camino Portugues
What we spent to walk the Camino de Santiago - Camino Portugues We walked from Tui, Spain to Santiago de Compostela, Spain over 6 days, walking 119km/74 miles. Depending on what types of accommodations, the amount and types of food and drink you need, the types of services you need for luggage transfer and how many tips and Camino stamps you want in your Camino passport, your expenses will vary. We cover our expenses for airbnbs, hotels, rooms, hostels, our food and drink costs and all miscellaneous expense. Between staying in hostels or alburgues, hotels, apartments, rooms in homes, the accommodation costs will be wildly different. One major tip is to make these reservations months in advance, especially if you're walking during the busy seasons of May-September. Here's some preparations tips to remember, but mainly, here's what we spent for 6-days of walking the Camino de Santiago. No matter what, the experience will last us a lifetime! We hope you'll go on your own Camino adventure, no matter which route or how long you choose to walk. Buen Camino!!
