Wandern zur Hörnlihütte am MATTERHORN in Zermatt, Kanton Wallis, Schweiz

Finally hiked to the Hörnlihütte! For a long time I had the wish to stand directly in front of the Matterhorn - a really magical mountain. Due to an excellent weather forecast I went to Zermatt at short notice to do this great hike. As promised, the weather was beautiful and I was fascinated! I had started the hike to the Hörnlihütte at the Schwarzsee. From there, you walk about 4.3 km and 700 meters of altitude difference up and then down again. For me it was an amazing experience to stand directly in front of this huge stone pyramid MATTERHORN!
