Salvage Yard Finds for our Budget Door & Window Renovation | Ugly Carport Makeover (Part 4)

This video is part of a series in which we're converting our ugly old carport into something more like an attractive garage. We then plan to knock through the wall to join it with the existing shed, and eventually that should create a whole new workshop space for us. Join us for Part 4, where we're finally adding some walls and planning the external features of our rebuilt structure! After Storm Eowyn took the roof off our original carport, we decided to completely rethink this space. Now, with a new pitched roof built from salvaged materials, we're making it even more functional and attractive. In this episode, we explore salvage yards in our area, including the fantastic "Rebuild" in Carlisle, looking for reclaimed doors and windows to transform our carport. We're continuing our mission to keep this project low-cost and sustainable, using repurposed building materials wherever possible.
