DIY Sash Window Conversion | Ugly Carport Makeover (Part 5)

This video is part of a series in which we're converting our ugly old carport into something more like an attractive garage. We then plan to knock through the wall to join it with the existing shed, and eventually that should create a whole new workshop space for us. Join us for this week's DIY sash window conversion. Cameron has been transforming a sash and case window bought from a construction industry reclamation yard. He's rotated it 90 degrees and turned it into a custom horizontal casement window with hinged panes for our carport rebuild. This upcycled window is part of our larger carport renovation project, all being done with sustainable building and repurposed materials wherever possible. We’re also tackling our food forest garden, finishing the building of our garden rabbit fence, and getting the mulch beds ready for plants.
