No Campaigns

Renown televangelists opposed to the proposed constitution are scheduled to hold a major prayer meeting, cum no campaign rally at the famed Uhuru Park this afternoon. The prominent clergymen are hoping to use their popularity to draw crowds and convince Kenyans to reject the proposed supreme law during the august 4th referendum poll, citing clauses on abortion and Kadhi courts as their major reason for driving the no agenda. Higher education minister William Ruto is also expected at the rally, together with politicians in the no camp. Francis Gachuri reports.
