Jubilee Coalition Campaigns

The Jubilee coalition has promised to transform agriculture into a major driver of economic growth and sustainable development, if it forms the next government after the march 4th general election. The coalition's presidential candidate Uhuru Kenyatta and his running mate William Ruto said a jubilee government will establish a special revolving fund at the constituency level to give women and the youth interest free loans, to enable them set up small scale businesses, and tackle widespread unemployment in the country. And as Francis Gachuri reports, the call to Prime Minister Raila Odinga to retire from active politics alongside President Mwai Kibaki, was repeated on day two of the coalition's campaign tour of Meru and Embu counties.
