Yes and No Campaigns
Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Uhuru Kenyatta and Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka championed the yes campaigns in different parts of the country. The Vice President was in Eastern Province where he called on Kenyans to delink the constitution making process from 2012 politics. The No campaign stayed in Coast Province in Kilifi and Malindi where Higher Education Minister William Ruto said the draft constitution will not solve the persistent land issues at the Coast Province.
