Video of the finished marble:    • Vortex Marble Handmade by Bill Grout 2.21"...   Silver foil is combined with gold fume to create the inner most band of ethereal clouds, while dots of gold and silver fume lie in the background against the red base. Shining silver pinpoints are seen Throughout the core. The back side is decorated with raked lines of black, peacock blue, and amber purple floating over the reflective silver fumed base. Colors used in this build: Cherry Red, Black Jet, Peacock, and Double Amber Purple. Learning and exploring new ideas for artistic handmade designs in glass is an ongoing journey. The hot glass heats up, glows orange, and is carefully manipulated to create a smooth, round form, highlighting the intricate skills involved in its making. It's truly amazing to see the creation of such a beautiful piece by hand by a skilled artist.
