Video of the finished marble:    • Vortex Marble Handmade by Bill Grout 2.17"...   A basic compression bloom dominates the core with gold and silver fumed sparkling drops. A myriad of micro bubbles creates an effect like morning dew in the sunlight. Some twisting gold and silver fume cane spirals in the background with lilac drops on top of the black base. The back side is decorated with raked lines of gem red, pale blue, and sparkling blue floating over the reflective silver fumed base. Colors used in this build: Disco Sparkle, IO Star, Purple Lilac, Black Jet, Aqua Mist, Dragons Blood, and Unobtanium. The hot glass heats up, glows orange, and is carefully manipulated to create a smooth, round form, highlighting the intricate skills involved in its making.
