#12 The river path (Waterliniepad Nieuwersluis-Nederhorst)

Late May hike (10 km) continuing the Waterlinie path (LAW 17) going north from Nieuwersluis to Nederhorst den Berg on a nice day. The hike always keeps alongside the meandering Vecht river, going through home gardens and over biking paths and small country roads. Really enjoyed the abundance of flowers on the path. You pass the picturesque old village of Vreeland, though with city rights since 1265.
