The original plan was to put a Bison Hand pump on this, but plans changed. They also thought about using it for irrigation...that also never happened. First we have to pull out the existing submersible pump that is on a pitless adapter before we can proceed. The next step is to fill in the well with Bentonite grout. This method is a pressure grout method, installing a tremmy pipe near the bottom of the well & forcefully pump the Bentonite clay down the hole from the bottom up. Previous videos on deeper wells we will do the "reverse tremmy" method and have a cement truck bring us a special mixed load for wells (basically small gravel & no fly-ash). This Well wasn't very deep, only about 120ft, so that's why we used the grouter for this job. I've seen others just dump dry bags down the hole...that may work, but every county and state has different requirements or regulations regarding wells.
