Climbing down into the Well and found Tree Roots. Fixing an unlikely problem.

The customer just wanted water at his barn for odd & end needs, but now there's a need for a more reliable system. Since my original diagnosis was wrong and I basically sold them a pump they didn't really need, I took off my labor costs. The dreaded check valve at the pressure tank was the issue all along. Even though we found more tree roots in the well, that wasn't the issue. Either way, I fixed it In the end & felt bad for misdiagnosed problem. I would have installed the old pump back on if thats what was asked of me, but they liked the idea of a better pump, now that we know the well is usable & doesn't run dry.
