Sink Holes while Well Drilling is always something that we think about in the back of our mind, Especially when you run into sand formations. The 2 previous wells in this area failed due to Collapse, so I attacked this hole with a different mindset. Im slowly getting together new equipment to better handle these sandy wells, but everything takes time. Sometimes you just have to use what you have! Most would recommend Dual Rotory Drilling rigs & use Steel / Metal casing, or set surface casing. I was determined to get this done using Pvc casing, once I finished I decided to install a sand sleeve or screen as a safety precaution.
