Eko then confiscated the phone, in accordance with school regulations. This disciplinary action sparked anger among the student's family. After Friday prayers, Awang arrived at Eko Prayitno's home in Karangan District in a black Innova. Without further ado, he immediately struck Eko twice on the head in front of the victim's wife and children. "The perpetrator grabbed the victim by the collar with his right hand and struck him twice with his left hand, which was holding the cell phone," explained Trenggalek Police Chief, AKBP Ridwan Maliki, in a press conference.
