TRIBUN-VIDEO.COM - The screams of a man who was the victim of a robbery shattered the silence of the night in the Tanah Merah residential area, Jalan Mandiri VII, RT 12 RW 09, Rawa Badak Selatan Village, Koja, North Jakarta, on Friday (July 17, 2026) at around 11:00 PM WIB. The man was Sahrul Muwafik (26), a migrant from Tasikmalaya, West Java, who lives in Rawa Badak Utara. Covered in blood from slash wounds, Sahrul ran to the home of the local neighborhood association head, Junedi Diopari Simatupang, to ask for help. In a weak voice, Sahrul repeatedly pleaded for help while remembering his eight-month pregnant wife. Junedi, who was sitting on his cell phone at the time, was immediately shocked to see the victim's condition. Blood was pouring from Sahrul's legs and arms, while his helmet was still on his head. Seeing the critical condition, residents immediately took action. The neighborhood association (RT) head and residents contacted local authorities, the Bhabinkamtibmas (community police officer), the Linmas (community line) officer, and the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) ambulance. Shortly afterward, the victim was evacuated to Koja Hospital for medical treatment. Sahrul's motorcycle was stolen by the mugger. The exact location of the mugging remains unknown, as the victim only managed to call for help before being taken to the hospital. Slash wounds were clearly visible on the victim's legs and arms. It was later discovered that Sahrul worked at Penabur 5 Christian High School. Before being killed, he had just finished playing futsal with his friends in the KBN area.
