TRIBUNJATIM.COM - Rika Kusumawati is still awaiting the autopsy of her husband, Wahyudi (32), in front of the forensic room at Dr. Haryoto Lumajang Regional Hospital, Tuesday (July 14, 2026). Rika claims to know the perpetrator who killed her husband. Wahyudi was the victim of a murder that occurred behind their house in Tegalrandu Village, Klakah District, Lumajang Regency. The victim died around 2:00 a.m. WIB after allegedly being attacked with a sharp weapon. Police are still investigating and hunting for the perpetrator, who has fled. While awaiting the autopsy results, Rika sat with a listless face and puffy eyes. The 24-year-old woman admitted to only learning about the incident after waking up in the early hours of the morning. "I didn't know what happened. When I woke up, I found out that my husband had slaughtered him," she said. Rika said the perpetrator was believed to be alone and that the incident occurred behind their house. "I don't know the perpetrator well, but I know him and his name. It happened behind my house," he said. He also admitted to not knowing the underlying issues behind the incident. "I'm not allowed to get involved in men's affairs, they say. Men are men, women are women," he said, crying. Lumajang Police Public Relations Sub-Division Head, First Inspector Suprapto, said the preliminary investigation is based on the statements of several witnesses at the scene.
