I spent the evening slowing down with a cosy campfire by the lake, cooking a simple but delicious camp dinner outdoors, and taking in the quiet surroundings. I also challenged myself with a cold water lake dip, which was definitely one of the coldest I’ve done 🥶 The weather added to the experience too, with strong winds and a rainy camping morning, before it cleared up just in time for a peaceful morning coffee by the lake. Moments like this are why I love solo camping and creating these little escapes into nature.
