Entering Turkey: The Madness of Istanbul - Ep 7

Crossing the border from Bulgaria into Türkiye felt like entering a different world. After days of quiet, empty roads, I rode straight into the heart of Istanbul. It was a total sensory overload—insane traffic, heat, and a massive shock to the system. Nothing prepares you for the "nine million impressions" hitting you at once when you enter a city of this scale on two wheels. Istanbul is beautiful, but on a motorcycle, it feels like a battlefield. I ended the day at a cheap hostel in the middle of the city. It was a place to just sit still for a moment and try to digest how the journey shifted so violently from peaceful to chaotic in a matter of hours. Thanks for riding along. -Tor
