The Turkey I Didn't Expect - Ep 12
Flashing blue lights in a foreign country will always make your heart race. While riding north through Turkey, I was suddenly pulled over by the police on a quiet stretch of road. What happened next became one of the most unexpected encounters of this journey so far. Before reaching the coast, I passed through Sivas — a city that completely surprised me with its slow, relaxed atmosphere. A simple conversation with a local carpet salesman turned into one of those genuine travel moments that only happen when you slow down and take the time to connect. Leaving Sivas behind, the landscape began to transform. The flat roads disappeared and were replaced by incredible mountain passes, perfect tarmac, deep valleys, and some of the most beautiful riding of the journey so far. Thanks for riding along. – Tor
