Up Nort' (North German-Style Pilsner) | Working Draft Beer Company | Beer Review | #2952

In this review, I'm going to take a look at a beer from the Working Draft Beer Company, and it's their Up Nort'. This is a North German-style Pilsner that they released for their 8th anniversary. Recently, I reviewed another beer within the style from Strangebird out of Rochester, NY, and loved it, so I'm assuming this is also going to be tasty based on the great things I've heard about Working Draft. This North German-Style Pils is drier and more bitter than our standard German Pils, Hindsight. Brewed with a blend of Weyermann Barke Pilsner malt and Gambrinus Pilsner malts for an extra pale and dry malt base. Hopped liberally with Tettnang, Herbsrucker and Saphir hops for loads of spicy accents and hints of citrus. Fermented cold and slow with our German lager yeast for an ultra clean and crisp finish.
