It's located about 80 kilometers from Bageshwar. This is 4-5 days trek where you pass through many small meadows, forest & villages. There are various campsites on trek. Most of these campsites have decent water facility. You can also follow this trek route if you are trekking to Namik Glacier. From one side of Ranthang Top, the first peak you see is Dang Thyal, which stands over 19,000 feet Right next to it is the stunning Nanda Kot Peak. Nanda Kot means Fort of Maa Nanda, and it is believed to be the dwelling place of Goddess Parvati. Near Nanda Kot, you can also spot the majestic Nanda Devi and Nanda Devi East peaks.
