Investigating Cransley Furnaces and Train/Car Scrapyard in Kettering

Cransley Ironstone furnace, Cohen's train scrapyard, Car breakers yard and now this brown field site is now an industrial estate for warehouses. You viewers have highlighted the possibility that the land is highly contaminated. The site was cleared before warehouses were built but a small parcel of land at the rear of the site tells a different story. I also conducted a water test which after filming turned positive so I return with a Kettering Community champion who would be able to report my finding back to Kettering Town Council. Sadly the water test is still inconclusive. I have included this video into the "Toxicity Rising" series because the water sample and test will hopefully be included with the Corby water tests done when Earthwatch.org.uk return later in the year.
