Orlando Hidden Gem | Stranger Things Themed Market | Final HHN Night

Anyone who knows us knows we love finding things to do in Orlando outside the theme parks… and this one might be our new favourite. On this Florida trip we headed to Kissimmee for breakfast at Susanna’s, then over to the Kissimmee Civic Center for Once Upon a Magic Market – a monthly themed makers market packed with Disney, Universal and movie inspired small businesses' The October theme "market in the upside down" Stranger Things coded! Proper “from the upside down” vibes. Rows of handmade stalls, miniature Mickey ears for your Labubu, Thunder Mountain wax melts, hand sewn book bags, artwork, themed cakes… we were absolutely in our element. Holli got a pair of magnetic Mickey ears from a company called Dream Along With Us that attach to any cap (GENIUS for park days if you’re a hat person but still want the ears aesthetic). We met the owners, learned how to style and fit them properly, and honestly just loved the whole community feel. If you’re looking for alternative Disney shopping in Orlando, this is one to add to your list. After a chilled afternoon back at the hotel we headed to Universal Orlando for our final Halloween Horror Nights of the trip. We ticked off: • Grave of Flesh • Five Nights at Freddy’s • Cat Lady of Crooked Lane • Masquerade: Dance with Death • Mutations:Toxic Twenties And finally saw Nightmare Fuel which, as always, is pure spectacle.
