Saying Goodbye to Dinosaur | Animal Kingdom Snacks & Sanaa Lounge at Kidani Village

Anyone who knows us knows we are not rope drop queens… and honestly? We don’t need to be. This Animal Kingdom half day was all about doing it our way. We started with one last ride on Dinosaur before it goes extinct for good, then headed over to Flight of Passage because she simply never misses. Obligatory Mickey pretzel secured. Vietnamese coffee the size of a small bucket secured. Energy levels questionable but spirits high. After a slow wander around Disney’s Animal Kingdom we made our way to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Kidani Village for a late lunch at Sanaa Lounge. We’d heard about the famous bread service and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The food was divine and the portion sizes too big even for us! if we go back we will deffo be sharing! kinda feel cheated out of dessert but there was no way either of us were guna manage one! We finished the day exactly how it should be finished… rocking chairs overlooking the savanna wildlife in Animal Kingdom Lodge, then back to the Aventura to the pool to sleep off a very serious food coma. Sometimes the best Disney days aren’t the busiest ones we love taking the time just to wander low key and soak up the energy in the parks.
