Tam & Echo's Adventures Day 3 Yorke Peninsula

Today started with a beautiful sunrise at Wattle Point Bush Campground before Echo and I hit the road again to see what the Yorke Peninsula had in store for us. Out first stop was Troughbridge Point, where we explored the rugged coastline, watched surfers tackle the waves, kept an eye out for whales, and learned about some of the shipwrecks that have been sunk along this wild stretch of coast. We also visited the historic Troughbridge Point Lighthouse and took in the incredible ocean views. From there, we tackled some rough corrugated dirt roads that had us crawling along much slower than planned, but the scenery made it worthwhile. Along the way we stopped at Port Moorowie, Foul Bay, Meteor Bay, and Meehan Hill Lookout, with plenty of coastal views, rolling farmland, and even a few sheep keeping us company on the drive. We finished the day settling into Marion Bay Campground, where a mob of kangaroos came out to welcome us for the evening. Another day full of coastlines, lookouts, wildlife, and a few bumpy roads, but we're already looking forward to tomorrow's adventures and seeing where the road takes us.
