We kick off at Innes National Park— spectacular coastal scenery, curious emus, and a wander through the abandoned gypsum mining village (a beautiful slice of history). Only downside? March flies… and Steve got busy swatting! 🤣 Next up is the (formerly) infamous Wauraltee Beach. It used to be the spot for camping right on the beach—that’s not permitted now but still a stunning place to visit and enjoy. On the way back to our base in Maitland, we stop at Port Victoria. We stroll the jetty, learn about the windjammers that once filled with grain bound for Europe, and get treated to something special: a wild dolphin swimming and playing beneath the jetty.
