優しい人が本気で怒った時にすること【仏教の教え】
There's a saying, "You only realize your own shortcomings when someone leaves." This proverb means that when someone you cherish leaves you, you only then regret the words and actions that hurt or disappoint them, and you realize your own shortcomings and baseness. The strained face and sad eyes of the person who left come back to you again and again throughout the day. "Why did I do that back then?" "I shouldn't have said that then." This pain lingers in your heart, unforgettable. It makes sense that there are so many stories about going back in time and starting over, like "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time" and "Your Name." Everyone has things they wish they could go back to and do differently. However, in reality, you can't go back in time, trust that's been broken can never be restored, and that person will never come back to you. It's true that there's no point in regretting it now, but precisely because it's something that can't be undone and can't be changed, people continue to regret it. "I wish I could go back in time and do it over" is a wish that humanity, throughout history and across cultures, has never been able to fulfill. We are always on a one-way road from which there is no U-turn. Even this very moment, as you read this text, is about to pass away, becoming a past that can never be returned to.
